Overview

There are 3 basic methods for loading firmware onto a Mote, each with their own pros & cons and place:

• Updates over SWD - does not use a bootloader
• Updates over Bristlemouth - uses the Bristlemouth Bootloader, cannot be used to update the Bristlemouth Bootloader.
• Updates over USB DFU - uses a built-in DFU Bootloader, can be used to update the Bristlemouth Bootloader.
